Canada’s Trade Commissioner Service is seeking women-owned and women-led businesses in technology-based sectors to join the Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development for a women’s Canada Trade Mission to the United Kingdom.

From March 13 to 16, 2023, Gene Bio Medical, commissioned by the Canadian federal government, together with 20 female entrepreneurs from the biotechnology industry and other industries, will visit multiple cities in the United Kingdom for business activities and meetings, exchange ideas with local entrepreneurs and government officials, and promote trade and investment cooperation.

Canadian Minister of International Trade, Mary Ng, and British Secretary of State for International Trade, Liz Truss, will also participate in some of the activities and hold in-depth discussions on the economic and trade relations between the two countries.

The trade delegation, consisting of representatives from various industries, aims to strengthen the economic and trade cooperation between Canada and the United Kingdom, and seek business opportunities for Canadian enterprises in the UK market.
