Monoclonal Antibody Development
Gene Bio Medical offers custom monoclonal antibody development services using established hybridoma technology and advanced screening methodologies. Our experienced scientific team works closely with clients throughout the entire development process to ensure optimal antibody specificity, sensitivity, and performance.
Development Process
1. Antigen Design & Immunization
Customer-specified antigens are evaluated by our scientific team to design an optimized immunization strategy. Where required, we provide guidance on antigen preparation, conjugation, and purification to maximize the probability of generating high-affinity antibodies.
Throughout the immunization phase, antibody responses are monitored using validated analytical methods, including ELISA, Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and other customized assays. Regular progress updates and serum evaluation results are shared with clients before proceeding to hybridoma generation.
2. Hybridoma Generation & Clone Screening
Following successful immunization, spleen cells are fused with myeloma cells to generate hybridoma cell lines. Candidate clones are screened using ELISA and other application-specific assays to identify antibodies with the desired characteristics.
Positive clones are expanded, characterized, and preserved. Supernatants and preliminary screening data can be provided for client evaluation and validation.
3. Clone Validation & Antibody Production
Selected monoclonal antibody-producing clones undergo additional characterization to confirm specificity, stability, and monoclonality. Antibodies can then be produced through optimized cell culture systems or other production platforms based on project requirements.
4. Purification & Quality Control
Our scientists select the most appropriate purification strategy to achieve high purity while maintaining biological activity and functionality. Comprehensive quality control testing is performed throughout the purification process to ensure consistency, performance, and reproducibility.
Innovation Beyond Antibodies
In addition to antibody development, Gene Bio Medical actively invests in molecular diagnostics, AI-enabled diagnostic platforms, advanced biomanufacturing, digital health technologies, and precision medicine solutions. By integrating scientific innovation with scalable commercialization capabilities, we accelerate the development of next-generation healthcare technologies that improve patient outcomes and strengthen global healthcare systems.
